Here are some remedies to overcome problem of constipation using vegetables and fruits.

  1. Start your day with 4 X 160 ml of water: take it before brushing you teeths
  2. Have a lukewarm honey-lemon water before breakfast
  3. Have a guava or peach between breakfast and lunch time, say at 11 am.
  4. Have 350 gms of grapes daily around 3 pm.
  5. Soak 3-4 dry figs in warm water at night and eat them in morning along with the water. Do this for at least 4 weeks
  6. Include salad in your proper meals. Salad ingredients like carrot and cucumber provide roughage that acts as cleansing agent
  7. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.
  8. Do at least 45 minutes of some form exercise; be it simple walking
  9. Keep the sweet intake to minimum
  10. 5 day all fruit fast once in a quarter is good to detoxify you body
